Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia #61- Boss- Eligor and Mechanical Tower 2

Boss fight with Eligor and more exploration. Well, Eligor is probably one of the hardest bosses in the game, if you fight him normally. First you have to destroy the jewels on his legs, and his crossbow, and then you have to slide under him when jumps, walking with him and ducking to avoid his foot. Then you have to go behind him when he jumps again, destroy more jewels and a crossbow, and climb up, then you have to attack his eye all the while avoiding his different attempts to make you fall off. This takes a long time and is pretty difficult especially for the medal. However, there’s a way to make this fight alot easier. I saw this in a boss rush video, you just have to destroy the jewels on his legs, then use Redire and Magnes to fling yourself up to his back. When I tried to fling myself directly to his back, I always got hit when he bucked, so I recommend just waiting in the air until he stops like here. Once you’re on his back you can own him pretty quickly, I just whacked his eyeball over with the Samuel L. Jackson attack but you can use whatever method you want. For defeating Eligor you receive the Arma Custos, another of the three Cerberus Glyphs. After that I go backtracking a little, I go back to the Lapiste Room to get the Star Ring, then I fill in more of the Mechanical Tower, getting the Mortus Glyph and the Arma Machina transformation, it turns you into one of those Automatons and you can break spikes with it.

To get Redire, Leave Draculas Castle from the bottom exit; Go to gamefaqs for a map. Go to the level titled training hall and get to the last room. ZeromusX has a very good video going step by step through it.

Ugh, I have redire, but I just can’t go all spiderman with it. I always either randomly fall down or release the white powder that apparently all monsters are allergic to.

If you have beaten the game once before and have a death ring (or 2) you might want to just detroy the jewels in his legs with Melio Macir, destroy both cross bows while he still has his hooves raised with Glyph Union, destroy the jewels on the back legs with Macir again and finish him with dual Melio Falcis, Glyph Unions to the eye. First time I did this I died about 15 times, but now I am LV. 118 and I can take him in 2 hits.

thats interesting, you took 264 damage and still got the medal. why? or did you take that damage after dealing the final blow?

You get the medal if you don’t get hit by the enemy; self-inflicted “damage” from Dominus Agony, Spoiled Milk, etc doesn’t matter when getting a medal.

oh ok, that makes sense. Didn’t notice that you used something to deal self-inflicting damage.

@Cpj002 redire is at the end of the training hall, which is one of two secret dungeons u can unlock in the game. at the very bottom right of draculas castle there is a secret exit which unlocks them but u need Paries first. good luck and have fun, the dungeons are very difficult.
