What kind of watches would make a good gift for my husband ?
My husband will be turning 50 in april.He is really into watches I want to give him a good brand of watches. I was thinking would make a good gift for him. Can anyone suggest any brands or styles?

Rolex is an excellent watch but is very expensive , if you want one that is still good quality but less expensive try Bulova , Citizen , Seiko , or Invicta .
Depends on what he is into.
If he’s into watersports (no dirty stuff intended) like yachting he may prefer something tough and waterproof, with built in compass. Heart rate monitor may also be good considering age and physical activities he may be into.
Rolex and Omega are right at the top of charts. I’d probably bypass Rolex being too pricey, might as well get him a motorbike for same money. Of course, this all depends on thickness of your wallet.

Porsche also have a great range, not over the top, but very nice and rather energetic.
Also, depending on how tech savvy your hubby is, there’s Sony Ericsson range of watches that had been developed with Fossil.
Fossil are very moderately priced but great looking modern designs. S.E. watches have great connectivity to your phone via bluetooth, tell you when you have a message and remind you if you have left your phone behind (might come in handy at 50) as well as heap of other features, I recommend googling them. Stark also have a nice range, but I’m not sure about them being a good 50th present, however I do not know the person.

Depending upon how much money you have to spend, I really like Ball Watches, a moderately priced Swiss made luxury brand that is well respected by collectors, but not prohibitively expensive. All models are mechanical, meaning not electronic, and the quality is really outstanding, especially for the price. At a lower price point, Hamilton is another Swiss-made brand that combines good quality, good design and reasonable prices. Incidently, Hamilton is a sister company to Omega (another good choice if you can afford it). Features to look for should include Swiss-made Automatic or Hand-wind movement, sapphire crystal.
